Ryan- Nice work creating your blog. Your artwork has a lot of energy and a sense of an emerging voice. I hope that you will keep posting new images! I was hoping to see a self-critique of your silkscreen on your blog and when posting art- it is helpful for you to have some commentary about it. Your silk screen image is very strong and I especially like your choice of colors and experimentation with a variety of surfaces to print on. Your choice of subject is interesting although I'm not sure how it relates to consumerism and portraiture (this is why I wanted you to post your defense of your image here or on the discussion forum). However, the layering of color and placement of the trees in your design structure is very strong and is an overall engaging image.
